The LED desk lamp arrived yesterday. Finally I can read in bed without blinding Eiron with the floor lamp! As expected, the LED lamp casts a blue, cold light instead of the yellow, warm light that incandescent light bulb would. It would take me a bit to get used to the cold light but so far I am impressed with the build quality and the amount of light the lamp is throwing out. It has six degrees of freedom so I am able to adjust it so the light falls at the exact direction I want.
