QotD: Pass Me The Style Section

Do you read the Sunday paper?  Which one(s)?

I hate newspaper, and especially Sunday paper. They consume so much energy (paper, ink, electricity, fuel for transportation, etc.) is expanded to produce them and I bet most people do not read even half of the articles inside. Why can't people read it online so less paper will be used to print them?

Writing gig

My first post for Download Squad is now online!

I am very flattered by Victor who invited me to blog for the Download Squad. Thanks Victor!

(Not bad for someone whom English is second language and doesn't have an English degree…)

Two days later

While lying in bed this morning (actually more like late morning/noon) the blog post idea that escape me last week suddenly popped into my head! So now it is safely jotted down in my Mac, waiting to be fully flushed out.

Save the energy, Save the world

Typical bulb = 100w, a Compact Fluorescent Light bulb that outputs the same amount of light =
23w, a difference of 77w. Multiply that number by total # of US
Households (~120 million) & you can see that if every home switched
out 1 bulb, then we would save about 9.24 Billion watts of electricity
per kw/hour – Enough energy to curb emission levels of nearly 800,000
cars
.
