Frenzic

I don't play that much games on my Mac Pro. Most of my game playing is now on Xbox, especially Halo 2 on Xbox Live. But last week Iconfactory and ARTIS released Frenzic, a cross between the classic Tetris and Bejeweled. I paid for the Guru Bundle license after just 5 minutes of play time. It is that addictive!

The scores are uploaded to Frenzic's web site along with all the other players. I am ranked 66th as of this moment. I really can't imagine how other people can get score higher than 2000, let alone 6654!

I dare you to try it out. Just beware the time you will be spent playing it!

Derailment

Yet another derailment in the U.K. It seems to happen with semi-regularity. Whatever the cause, this makes convincing the public to take mass transport even more difficult. Of course, the statistic on travelling by car is worse than by rail or by air but safety is never about science or fact. It is all about perception.

Tennis photos

Serve

Last Monday I brought along my camera to my weekly tennis match. My friend Dan took some photos of me while I played my match. I was going to return the favour during his match but I played a double match instead 🙂 I guess I'll have to photograph him next time we play!

More on Flickr but this one on the left showing me in mid serve with my foot a few inches off the ground is my favorite of them all.

I think if my coach in Hong Kong all those years ago when I was a kid see these photos, he would be proud!

Vox Hunt: Cloud Cover

Show us your Vox tag cloud.  

I would show the world my tag cloud if it is accurate! Unfortunately it is not updated with any predictability. Vox seems to update the cloud every few weeks or months, depending on some mysterious events.

For example, my tag cloud does not show 'battlestar galactica' as a tag. But yet, here is a recent post with one. Is there some type of minimum post ceiling a tag must hit before making into the tag cloud? If so, what is it? If not, why are some tags in the cloud and some not? And what is the point of the tag cloud if not to show every tags I have in my blog?
