QotD: Is This Thing On?

When was the last time you had to speak in front of a group?  How did you feel?

Working in a development team that uses Agile method means that we have a 10-15 minutes standup meeting every morning. Each of us in turn describes what we did the day before and what we are planning to do for the day. So the last time I speak in front of a group is this morning, and I feel smug because I always find a way to crack some jokes about my work or someone's work.

The Open Door

Thanks to iTunes New Music Tuesday podcast (Yes eiron, I am still listening to the woman from Midwest), I found out that Evanescence's new album is now available on iTunes Music Store as a pre-order! I've already added it to my cart and downloaded the bonus track "Call Me When You're Sober". I've only listened to it once thus far but it sounds pretty good. Classic Evanescence music. Can't wait till October 3rd!

QotD: Howdy Neighbor!

How well do you know your next-door neighbors?

Know absolutely nothing at all about any of them, apart from the next door neighbor who have an infant baby and that stops me from playing late night Halo 2, even with headphone because apparently I talked to my teammate too loudly. They shouldn't have a baby in a city apartment if they can't handle the noise. Do they think they are living in the country side or something?! 😉

Vox Hunt

Now I am slightly regret my decision to buy the Nokia E61. It has no camera but I thought I didn't use it enough when I had the Treo so it won't be missed. But with the new Vox Hunt feature, now I want a camera on my phone. It would be such fun! 😦

QotD: The Best Part of Waking Up…

What's your morning beverage of choice?  Coffee, tea, juice?  Homemade or store-bought?

The very much depends on season, mood, availability of said beverages in fridge. Generally, OJ in summer, hot coffee in winter. I would try tea but only with carnation milk (a left over from growing up in a British colony), and it would be interesting to mix in Horlick in the winter.
